We're thrilled to announce the latest update of OPUS, packed with exciting enhancements to elevate your experience.  

Our latest update is set to roll out this evening 18 March 2024, between 17:30 and 18:30. 

Major Features

• Revamped Site Pages: Enjoy a fresh new look and feel with completely redeveloped site pages.
• Enhanced User Notifications: Set notification roles at a site level and have them inherited by users, including the ability to receive Alerts emails generated from workflows.
• Convenient Photo Management: Now you can save photos directly to your gallery while capturing them within photo questions.
• Efficient Webhook Integration: Create webhooks in OPUS to seamlessly trigger scenarios from jobs, eliminating the need for polling and making processes more efficient.
• Instant Analytics Dashboard Refresh: Experience real-time updates by refreshing Analytics Dashboards immediately when set to live mode.
• New Tab for Cloned and Linked Jobs: Easily view jobs linked through workflows or cloned with different references in a dedicated tab.

Other Enhancements

• New Logos Page: Refreshed logos page.
• Simplified Project Role Display: Project will no longer appear if not set.
• Expanded API Functionality: Adjust the coverage of the "External Client API - Insert Jobs" User Role to include all the Job-related functions available.
• Improved Data Handling: Prevent special characters from affecting Job Reference capture and ensure standardised date formatting.
• Enhanced Workflow Support: Workflow Reports now include site names when attached to emails
• Support for Action Text on 3 Face Rating Question: Now, you can use action text on the 3 face rating question for added functionality and clarity.
• Option to Include Alerts in Emails: Customise your workflow by including alerts in email.
• Record Checklist Tag: When starting a new job, the checklist tag selected will now be recorded against the job.
• Enhanced Workflow Reports: Workflow reports, now include the site name when attached to emails, making them easier to manage and understand.
• Menu Renaming: The "Dashboard" menu on the web platform has been renamed to "Overview" for better navigation and clarity.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

• The delete function on the Actions menu of the Site Panel & External Customer Actions Menu is now available to all users with site access.
• Standardisation of YYYY-MM-DD dates stored in the mobile app has been implemented.
• Image handling in the app has been optimised.
• The display and listing of jobs in both the app and web have been optimized.
• The issue where Action Text on a question exceeding 50 characters would throw an error message has been fixed.
• The error with PDFs attached with password protection has been resolved.
• Certain workflow reports will now generate correctly on the Workflow Report Download Page, even if the workflow is configured to NOT authenticate the user.
• Images in Bulk Extract reports will now open correctly on Windows, removing special characters.
• The cache issue encountered when signed-off jobs are opened in WebGL has been resolved.
• Jobs marked as "Operator Signed Off" will now display only the item code in the job description.
• The issue with job reassignment not being set to the correct timezone, resulting in incorrect notes, has been fixed.
• The filter for Document Jobs on the OPUS4Business app is now functioning correctly.
• A message will now be displayed if a photo or condition is not entered during an item transaction capture.
• Various performance improvements have been made across the web platform and in the app.
